GINGER TEA RECIPE

  • 3 cups of water
  • 3 oz. fresh ginger root
  • Apple or lemon
  • Honey or maple syrup

Preparation:

  • wash the ginger root
  • peel and cut the root into small pieces
  • pour the water in a saucepan
  • bring it to boil
  • add the ginger
  • lower it heat
  • let it sit for 15-20 minutes
  • remove from heat
  • let it sit for additional 5 minutes
  • put it in a teapot
  • put the leftover ginger in a tea ball
  • let it  steep for 15 minutes
  • remove the tea ball,
  • strain
  • serve

Tip:

Add a few tablespoons to your diet by grating ginger over a salad .
